I wonder if acidophilus would help? Maybe you could ask your vet about this.
Take a look at this forum's posts.
Worth a try. I'am laughing that the link talks about pugs...my sister has one of those little windbags! I'am always astounded at how much gas one little dog can produce; we could probably keep the house heated all winter on that dog's methane emissions! If the dog's intestinal flora are off-kilter, that could explain excessive gas production. Was the dog on any antibiotics near the time the problem began?
