What program do you use?
Hello,
Myself Jessyhuge.I like graphics.I am a software developer.I am used Photoshop.Photoshop may be the best known graphics software and it may seem like everyone uses it. But there are other popular choices as well such as the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite and free graphics software such as The GIMP and Ink scape.Photoshop is a standard name in graphic design for web use, print layout, and more. Recognized world-wide as the industry-standard, Photoshop offers one of the most robust graphics editing.

Photoshop has strong ties with other Adobe software for media editing, animation, and authoring. The .PSD (Photoshop Document), Photoshop's native format, stores an image with support for most imaging options available in Photoshop. These include layers with masks, color spaces, ICC profiles, transparency, text, alpha channels and spot colors, clipping paths, and duotone settings. This is in contrast to many other file formats (e.g. .EPS or .GIF) that restrict content to provide streamlined, predictable functionality.

Photoshop's popularity means that the .PSD format is widely used, and it is supported to some extent by most competing software. The .PSD file format can be exported to and from Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, and After Effects, to make professional standard DVDs and provide non-linear editing and special effects services, such as backgrounds, textures, and so on, for television, film, and the Web. Photoshop is a pixel-based image editor, unlike Adobe Illustrator or CorelDraw, which are vector-based image editors.

Photoshop can utilize the color models RGB, lab, CMYK, grayscale, binary bitmap, and duotone. Photoshop has the ability to read and write raster and vector image formats such as .EPS, .PNG, .GIF, .JPEG, and Adobe Fireworks.

Thanks.

RE: What program do you use?
I use only Photoshop because I think this is the only software in market which is easy to learn and easy to make graphics. I`have also tried Corel Draw but I wasn`t satisfied with it. Also you can learn a lot about Photoshop by just doing some tutorials which can easily be found on many sites. Though I`m not an expert of Photoshop but still love to make graphics with it.

I use corel draw. Some things just make so much more sense with it. I also use CS3 for both Mac and PC, they are good programs too, but Corel just seems to fit me better, I am so much faster with it, no matter how much I use ai, Corel is just quicker.
